I saw the original 20 minute prequel of the movie on youtube
(Spoiler for the prequel)
Meryl dies shortly after the Shadow Moses event and Snake is badly injured.
From there I went to the main site and read about the movie being made (this was back in 2008)
I went back recently and saw that it was finished.
